About Protein Discovery, Inc.
Protein Discovery, Inc. is a venture-backed life sciences company developing advanced sample preparation systems for the discovery and monitoring of disease markers (“biomarkers”) using high throughput mass spectrometry. The company’s sample preparation systems address many of the key challenges facing biomarker discovery, including the rapid identification of low abundance molecules contained in serum and other complex biological fluids.  The turn-key system is capable of generating high resolution protein and peptide expression profiles from up to 96 raw biological samples simultaneously, in less than 45 minutes.  The ability to reproducibly measure suites of clinically significant biomarkers in an ultra-high throughput fashion will enhance patient health by improving the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of disease.
